First Time User Instructions

Our virtual library website has been designed to manage the sale of documents to non-members, and provide free downloads to AMCA members. The documents are organized by manufacturer and year.  Browse the list of manufacturers on the left.  The number in parenthesis beside the manufacturer's name indicates the quantity of documents that are available library for that particular manufacturer.  Indian and Harley-Davidson documents are so numerous, we created sub-categories by groups of years. 

If you want to download a document, you will need to set up an account.  To do so:

1.  Click on the document you want, add it to your “shopping cart,” and a form will appear.  If you are an AMCA member, provide the required information and click on “Submit.”  If you are not an AMCA member, you may click on “Join the Club” and be transferred to a club application form.  Once you have completed the application form, or have set up a non-member's library account, you will be remembered forever.  The next time you visit, you’ll just have to “log in.”

2.  For practice, click on the “ACE (4)” category, scroll down to the 1927 Ace 4 Cylinder document and click on that.  (It’s free for everybody.)  Add it to your cart, and then go to checkout.  Next you will see the “Terms of Service,” to which you must agree by checking the little box at the bottom of the terms.

3.  Right under that is a block that asks if you are an AMCA Member.  Type “yes” if you are a current member; or “click here to become a member.”  After doing so, you will see an “Order Confirmation,” listing the document(s) you want.  Confirm your order.

4.  The next page instructs you how to download your document(s). Rather than opening it right then, we suggest you “Save” it to your desktop or into “My Documents,” where you will be able to find it in future years.  Please realize the document may take a long time to download, depending on its size.  Just wait until it’s done.  After it's done, you can open it and print whatever page, or the whole document, if you want.  Your antique motorcycle document will now reside on your computer for as long as you want.
